Picture: Autumn Rhythm (Number 30)

Artist’s name: Jackson Pollock

Date: 1950

Medium: Enamel on canvas

In this artwork, we can see it is a unorthodox paint and Jackson Pollock want to bring out the message with assumes the scale of an environment, enveloping both for the artist as he created it and for viewers who confront it. Jackson Pollock mainly use the way of dripped in it and also use poured, dribbled, stumbled, flicked, and splattered in his paint.

The colour of this artwork are not colourful and just focus in black, white and ochre. So it let me think the artist is saying about the environment of nowadays are start changing worse and bring out a lots of pollution around the world to let people be more focus on this serious global issues.

I would like to chose this artwork because it let me know art can not just be so formal or clear. Instead the style of this artwork can be more attract people to check it out. Art do not have any limit to stipulate any drawing must be formal.
